LeEco launches 2 new android powered mountain bikes with BikeOS in CES

LeEco during their US launch showcased their ecosystem product like bikes, VR headsets, Phones and TV’s. However they launched almost everything in their list from day one in US. But what attracted most people was their Android powered bikes , which they promised to launch as soon as possible but their exact specification and pricing was not revealed. Now at CES, we get to know our first glimpse about the bike’s specification and of course the specification is more attractive than the bike’s look.

The Bike is said to come in two different version , named as Smart Road Bike and Smart Mountain Bike. The bike’s comes with a 4 inch touchscreen powered by companies own BikeOS on top of Android Marshmallow. The BikeOS helps in traking a user’s ride, health activities, distance covered and comes with several in built apps like Here Map, alarm, bike security tracker , fingerprint scanner and many more.The bike will come equipped with horn, light, barometer, music player and fingerprint scanner for security.

The whole bike is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 Chipset and has 11 speed drive train. The Smart Road bike weights 18.5 pounds whereas the Smart Mountain bike weights 26.9 pounds. The entire frame of the bike is built on Toray T700 carbon fiber. The bike is said to be priced at a starting rate of $699 and will go all the way up to $5999.
